West of Sioux City, IA
Oscar the Grouch served as a
playful guardian to a landfill.
In front of the landfill was
an outdoor museum of windmills. Some of the designs were quite interesting. We rode to within about 15
miles of Denison, but then packed up to get Cindy and John to their flight
home from Sioux City that afternoon. In Sioux City we replenished our supply
of tires, tubes and Clif
