Of the 36 miles on I-15 between Wolf Creek and Helena, David rode 12 in the van due to the effects of the heat. Just north of Townsend we crossed the Missouri River. An eastbound storm blew us from Helena to Townsend, providing a much-needed respite from heat and headwinds. |
