This year,
we are taking our support for cancer research and care to another level, by
riding from Cincinnati to Sturbridge MA to join the regular Pan-Massachusetts
Challenge ride to raise money for the Jimmy
Fund, and its efforts for cancer
research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber was ranked #4
nationally for cancer care by US News and World Report in
July, 2004, for the third year in a row!
This is
our fifth PMC and the 25th annual PMC, so we're doing something special (or
insane, depending on your point of view).
-In 2000 and 2001 we rode the official PMC
route, 192 miles from Sturbridge MA to Provincetown MA over two days.
-In 2002 and 2003 we added an extra day and
100 miles at the start from the MA/NY state line.
-This year, in celebration of the historic
25th annual PMC, we're riding from Cincinnati (a total of 1,054 miles!)
and we're asking that you support us with exceptional charitable generosity
for the PMC and good wishes for us along the way.
We will
update this page with progress from our ride, starting in Cincinnati on
July 29 and ending in Provincetown on August 8. We'll be riding about 100
miles each day- see our schedule for details.
The NY/MA line, where
we've STARTED before.
This year, we'll be 750 miles in.
